Smugglers Cove Boatyard

Smugglers Cove Boatyard on the Dyfi Estuary, with its collection of boats and its mysterious atmosphere, is an amazing location to photograph. This photo was taken using an infrared Hoya (R72) 720nm filter which when processed as a black-and-white image transforms the boat into another reality.

I shot this with the Nikon Z7 (full spectrum converted) the 16.0-35.0 mm f/4.0 Nikkor lens and a Hoya (R72) 720nm filter. Image raw processed in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop & Nik 7.
