Coed Nant Gwernol Crossing - Nant Gwernol woodland lies on the edge of Abergynolwyn village and takes its name from a rocky river gorge with cascading waterfalls leading up to the remains of Bryn Eglwys Slate Quarry. The bridge in the distance is the crossing place from the Talyllyn railway Nant Gwernol station and forms part of the many walking trails in the ancient woodlands.
