The Dyfi 13 & Aquathlon 26 - 2024

The DYFI 13 & AQUATHLON 26

The DYFI 13 & AQUATHLON 26

Take on either the Dyfi Aquathlon 26km, or the Dyfi 13km Swim on Sunday 22nd September.

At 26km, we believe this is the longest aquathlon in the world.

Swim from the beautiful beach in Aberdyfi up towards the tidal limit of the Dyfi estuary covering 13km of splendour, a journey that transitions from coast to mountain.

Then run 13km back to the coast along the stunning Wales Coast Path. This is trail running at it's best.

A remarkable journey.

There will be a fully stocked transition point at the swim exit with nutrition, and your transition bags.

Water temperature at the start will be around 16 degrees, and around 15 degrees at the finish.

Prerequisite

Able to swim at 3km/h for 2 hrs 30 mins in open water. The prerequisite is in place because of the tidal nature of this committing swim.

No two swims in this estuary are ever the same, but they are always magical.
